DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAMME (DDP)

INTRODUCTION

The collaboration between UEH and ISS in bringing truly international education to our students has been increasingly developed over the past 26 years. One of our proud achievement is the establishment of Double Degree Programme in 2016.

Our Double Degree allows you to double your knowledge, experience, and potential opportunities in just two years, with 18 months in Vietnam and 6 months in The Netherlands. Graduates of the programme will be awarded both the Master of Science in Applied Economics, issued by UEH and Master of Development Studies, issued by ISS.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTION

  • Step 1

    TAKING THE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

    Applicants need to meet all admission requirements and take VNP’s entrance examination, as the MAE

  • Step 2

    ONE YEAR STUDYING IN VIETNAM

    DD students take 10 subjects in the modules of Economics, Finance and Analytical Tools in the MAE curriculum.

  • Step 3

    SIX MONTHS STUDYING IN THE NETHERLANDS

    Students will have opportunities to master their knowledge in Global Economics, emerging issues and Advanced Econometrics for 6 months at ISS, the Netherlands. 

  • Step 4

    THESIS

    DD students come back to Vietnam to write thesis under the guidance of supervisors from both Vietnam and the Netherlands

  • Step 5

    GRADUATION

    With the completion of thesis, DD students are eligible for two Master’s degrees issued by UEH and ISS.

Offline review course May 04th, 2021 Tuesday-Thursday, from 6:00pm - 8:30pm at 1A Hoang Dieu street, Phu Nhuan District, HCMC VND 3 million(including learning materials and exam’s fee)
Online review course Please send email to VNP programme for more consultation. Each student will receive an account to log-in VNP’s Elearning system for all learning materials,references, and exam’s trials to do the review. VND 2 million(including learning materials and exam’s fee)
TOEIC course (3 weeks) Monday-Wednesday-Friday from 6:00 pm - 09:00 pm at 54 Nguyen Van Thu, District 1, HCMC Tuition fee: VND 1.5 million, Exam’s fee: VND 990,000
Transition course tbc This class is specialized for those students who graduated from non-economics and non-management fields and want to pursue transfer certificate. VND 3 million(*) Three subjects will be covered including:Mathematics, Environmental Economics, Economics Development.
Entrance examination 18/07/2021 Applicants take two exams in English including:Economics and Quantitative Skills Assessment (GRE). VND 1 million (*) Tuition fee is waived for those students who registered for review courses.

• Copy of your English language Certificate (duly notarized or certified)
• Copy of your Transition Certificate (if any)
• 2 photographs (4 x 6 size)
• Application fee, non-refundable (free for applicants who registered Review Courses)
SCHEDULE:
• Entrance Examination: July 12, 2020
• Subjects: Economics and Quantitative Skills Assessment (GRE)
• Exam’s fees: VND 1 million (non-refundable; free for applicants who registered Review Courses)
